Shine On

I am so excited to spread the word about The Shine Project and their motto to "wear change ignite hope!" I am loving this Brooke Stack especially the story and the mission statement behind it. The Shine Project is doing good and changing lives by employing inner city youth in America to hand make jewelry, like the bracelets I am wearing, so they can earn money to help pay their way through college and pursue a brighter future. By purchasing a piece of their jewelry, you are helping one of these youths become a first generation college student.

Over 40 scholarships have been given since 2011, and 100% of donations given to the non profit go directly to the students. Threads by The Shine Project currently employs 11 inner city students.
